Dear Sisters & Brothers in Christ,
Last night we celebrate the institution of the Lord’s Supper; we joined the disciples at the table in a special way. Christ started a “New Covenant” with His disciples in the Upper Room. They had prepared to celebrate the Passover, but Jesus initiated a new sacrament where He shared His body and blood. This feast was also a celebration of the communion of believers where we share together in our burdens and sorrows and alongside of one another, receive forgiveness and life.
