Dear Sisters and Brothers In Christ,
Our sermon text this week (Romans 8:28-39) poses some life-changing questions for us to consider; rather than ask “Why me Lord?” Paul urges us to walk by faith and see how God works through all things for good. Each event in our life is like one ingredient in a cake…but when mixed by God with other events, it will surely produce what is good. This leads us to a second question, “What can separate us from God’s love?” “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all… will He not also with Him graciously give all things (v.32)?” What comfort and hope the Apostle Paul gives us when He unequivocally answers this question…NOTHING can separate us from God’s love.
