We continue our worship in the season of Easter; today’s Gospel lesson focused on being connected to the “True Vine” (Jesus) we’re able to produce fruit (John 15:1-8). One of the fundamental “fruits” of the Christian life is LOVE. Our epistle lesson today (1 John 4:1-21) reminds us that we’re able to show love to others because God first loved us; Pastor Gerken’s sermon contrasted God’s love with the world’s or human form of love

PS: Pastor Schuldheisz along with seven other middle school students and two other adults attended the Puget Sound Area youth gathering at Camp Arnold. We praise God that the 30 youth and 18 adults who gathered for this retreat were inspired by the gospel to remain connected to Christ and His love.
