Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
He is risen! He is risen indeed!
This Easter we celebrated the fact that Jesus did rise from the grave and what the women were told at the tomb was true – “He is risen! He is not here; see the place where they laid Him! These words are true and as a result they give us hope and assurance that Jesus keeps His promises. We also rejoiced with Nova and Erin Marseillan, and Robert Nielsen, who were baptized this Sunday. In baptism they were joined to Christ; and died to sin. They also rise with Christ to a new life!
