Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
In our Gospel lesson this morning, Jesus and His disciples were walking toward Capernaum, on the way, Jesus shared that He was going to be handed over to the “hands of men” and they would kill him and after three days he would rise. Confused by Jesus’ second prediction of His death, the disciples ignorantly and perhaps arrogantly return to the topic of who is going to be the greatest among the disciple. Jesus shows them that true status and honor is found in serving those whom God values.
