Nov. 1, 2022 – All Saints Day Service

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Tuesday November 1st Good Shepherd Lutheran Church had the privilege of hosting an All-Saints Day worship service that included members from Beautiful Savior, Our Savior, Prince of Peace, and Zion Lutheran Churches. A special thank you to Matthew Boule and Zairik Doyle who served as crucifix and acolyte during our processional and for members of the Shepherd’s Choir who assembled to sing selected verses from “For all the Saints.”

What a joy to worship as a community of saints as we look forward to and long for the return of our Lord and Savior on that Last Day. Pastors from the area churches read the names of members from their respective congregations who had passed away in the past year; with gratitude and praise to God we recognize their faith and God’s gifts of grace. The text of the sermon was Luke 6:20-31, the Lukan account of the Beatitudes.
