Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Yesterday we celebrated the Second Sunday after the Feast of Pentecost in our worship service. We read and reflected on how Jesus called Matthew to be one of His disciples. Despite being a tax collector and being associated with sinners, Jesus invites Matthew to be one of His followers and then joins Matthew and his friends for dinner.
