Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
This past Sunday we celebrated the Third Sunday after the Epiphany of our Lord. The Gospel lesson focused on Jesus’ calling of His disciples, so that all people might hear God’s word, repent, and believe. In the Old Testament lesson we heard the story of Jonah, who refused to share tell the people of Nineveh that God was calling them to repent and believe. What great news that God is always concerned about having His Word shared, forgiving and bringing people to faith.
